Our Story
Building AI Infrastructure From Africa
Founded in 2023 in Sierra Leone, we're on a mission to democratize AI technology across the African continent and beyond.
"We believe the next generation of AI innovation will come from Africa. We're building the infrastructure to make that possible."
Our Mission
To build AI infrastructure that empowers African businesses and developers to create world-class intelligent applications.
Our Vision
A world where AI technology is accessible to everyone, regardless of geography, and where African innovation leads global progress.
Our Approach
We combine cutting-edge AI research with deep local understanding to build solutions that work for real-world African contexts.
About Us
Pioneering AI from the Heart of West Africa
Geneline-X was born from a simple observation: Africa has the talent, the problems worth solving, and the unique perspectives needed to build transformative AI — what was missing was the infrastructure.
Starting from Freetown, Sierra Leone, we've built a comprehensive AI ecosystem that includes document intelligence (Xplain AI), chatbot creation (Genestudio), and groundbreaking language technology (Kay-X) for underserved African languages.
Our team combines deep technical expertise with firsthand understanding of African business contexts. We're not adapting Western solutions — we're building from the ground up for the challenges and opportunities unique to our continent.
